Every guide on this site follows the same process, and every guide carries the name of the person responsible for it.

Sourcing

We start from primary sources. For education that means the U.S. Department of Education accreditation database, CHEA, programmatic accreditors such as CCNE, ACEN and AACSB, and state licensing boards. For property and finance it means published fee schedules, regulator guidance and filed disclosures.

Review

Guides are reviewed at least twice a year, and immediately when a rule, rate or fee structure changes. The review date shown on each guide is the date a human last checked the numbers, not the date the page was regenerated.

Independence

Advertising is sold programmatically and is never linked to editorial coverage. No advertiser sees a guide before publication, and no advertiser can request changes to one.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to editor@vaultedge.com. Substantive corrections are noted on the page itself.

Limitations

Nothing on VaultEdge is legal, tax, financial or admissions advice. We describe how systems work; the decision, and the responsibility for it, stays with you.
